Lady Gaga’s Valentino Gown

In this episode, I give you some fashion history and leave you off with a fashion question. Do you think the blue-lavender ball gown was stolen, gifted, or forgotten?

Haute couture is considered the highest form of fashion design and the cost of it is priceless. There is no budget when it comes to haute couture. For a gown this detailed and constructed by hand to end up in a hotel’s lost and found is such an interesting juxtaposition. To me, it’s almost a metaphor for the fashion lifecycle. How a gown that costs over $150,000 is left behind and apparently unnoticed is beyond me.
